Cancún offers visitors turquoise waters, white sand beaches, and interesting nightlife in the form of shows, bars, and nightclubs. It’s a popular destination worldwide with one of the busiest airports in the Caribbean and Latin America - the Cancún International Airport. Many people choose to fly straight into Cancún Airport, go through customs, then stay in that city because it’s more convenient than driving out several hours further to some of the other destinations within Quintana Roo after landing in Mexico.

Negril, Jamaica
Negril is a very peaceful beach resort town located in western Jamaica. It’s ideal for anyone looking for a slower pace of life, fresh seafood, and complete relaxation. Though you’ll have to go next door to Hideaway or Royalton Negril for beach access, Grand Lido does have a dual-level infinity pool with a hot tub and ocean views. There is one French restaurant onsite; for all other dining, spa treatments, and fitness activities, guests will need to visit Royalton Negril (which they have full access to).
For those of you looking for a more liberal holiday experience, this butler-serviced, isolated resort for ages 21 and up is right for you.
St. Lucia
St. Lucia is the smallest island in the chain of Windward Islands in the eastern Caribbean. This adults-only all-inclusive resort has polished accommodations that offer beautiful views. (Upgraded rooms have pool or sea views.) Suites have whirlpool tubs as well as a sitting area or living room. The Club-level suites add access to a private lounge. The property also offers amenities such as 24-hour room service and access to top-rated golf courses nearby.
Hideaway offers a variety of cuisines, including Japanese, Mexican, Italian, and American (there’s a steakhouse and sports bar). Additionally, there’s a gym, spa, 5 outdoor pools (2 with swim-up bars) and direct private beach access.
Marriott Bonvoy Benefits
In my opinion, signing up for Marriott Bonvoy is a no-brainer. For starters, the day you sign up as a Marriott Bonvoy member, you receive complimentary in-room wi-fi, discounted member rates, and mobile check-in services. Even if those were the only three benefits received, it would be worth it. But there are more perks than just that, of course. As you stay more nights, you will get added benefits like priority late checkout, room upgrades, welcome gifts, and more.

There are several other great uses for downloading the Marriott Bonvoy mobile app - featuring like:

Mobile key - open your room, parking garage, fitness center, pool, and more with your mobile app

Mobile chat - text your hotel before, during, or even after your stay

I have used every one of these features and love the user experience. I particularly enjoy the Mobile Request feature. On several occasions, I have forgotten toothpaste or a razor. I just open the app, click on the request, and the front desk runs the amenity up to my room for me. It’s very convenient to use, and I have always found the staff to be quite responsive.
